Rockstar's June 2026 preorder announcement locked in GTA 6's standard edition at $79.99, with the Ultimate Edition priced at $99.99, directly confirming the base game will not reach the $100 threshold. This official reveal, backed by Take-Two Interactive's statements and active preorder listings across platforms, has solidified trader consensus around a "No" outcome, reflecting the industry's typical AAA pricing patterns and the absence of any subsequent price hikes. While the market-implied odds exceed 97 percent, realistic upset scenarios remain limited to an unlikely last-minute revision before the November 19, 2026 launch or reinterpretation of what constitutes the "standard" edition under the market's resolution criteria.
