Alphabet's GOOGL shares closed at $340.65 on August 27 after trading in a $338.52–$341.69 range, reflecting consolidation following a post-Q2 earnings pullback from August highs near $384. The July 22 report delivered 24% revenue growth to $119.8 billion and 82% Google Cloud expansion, but raised full-year capex guidance to $195–205 billion amid continued AI infrastructure demand, contributing to near-term margin pressure and share-price volatility. With the August 31 close just days away and no major economic releases or company events scheduled, trader positioning centers on short-term momentum, broader equity sentiment, and whether the stock can hold above key technical levels established in the recent correction.

If the two specified prices are exactly equal, this market will resolve to "No".
Closing prices will be used exactly as published by Pyth, without rounding.
If Alphabet Inc. (GOOGL) does not trade at all during the regular session, the market will resolve 50-50.
For a standard full trading session, the closing price refers to the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle corresponding to the final minute of regular trading hours on the primary exchange.
If the specified day has no valid Pyth Close value for the 1-minute candle corresponding to the end of regular trading hours on the primary exchange, the market will use the last valid Pyth price achieved during the regular trading hours of the primary exchange as the effective closing price.
