This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded at the Buckley Space Force Base Station in degrees Fahrenheit on 2 May '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day by the Forecast for the Buckley Space Force Base Station once information is finalized, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/us/co/aurora/KBKF. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market can not resolve to "Yes" until all data for this date has been finalized. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.National Weather Service forecasts project a high near 72°F in Denver today under persistent sunny skies and light variable winds, driving trader consensus to 100% implied probability for 56°F or higher as the dominant outcome. This positioning stems from a strengthening high-pressure ridge over the central Rockies, confirmed by the latest Global Forecast System and European model runs in the past 24 hours, which favor above-normal daytime heating at Denver's mile-high elevation—well exceeding the May 2 climatological average of 65°F. Current observations show morning lows near 40°F rapidly warming with ample solar insolation and minimal cloud interference. Realistic challenges include unexpected mid-level cloud development or an accelerated cold front arrival, potentially capping peaks in the mid-50s, though satellite and radar data indicate low risk; monitor NWS updates and airport observations through afternoon peak heating around 3-5 PM MDT for final confirmation.
