Recent forecasts from multiple models indicate a highest temperature in Mexico City on September 6 likely between 23–25°C amid widespread cloud cover and thunderstorms associated with the ongoing rainy season. Mexico City’s high elevation near 2,240 meters moderates extremes, with September climatological highs averaging 23–24°C and frequent afternoon convection limiting solar heating. Current conditions show mild instability and moisture that favor the observed market concentration on 24°C as the mode, while the modest probabilities for 25°C or higher reflect uncertainty in any brief clearing or model spread. Official updates from agencies tracking regional patterns will refine these estimates as the day progresses.
