This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 National League Cy Young Award. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Jacob Misiorowski's historic dominance as the Milwaukee Brewers ace has shaped trader consensus around an 89% implied probability for the 2026 NL Cy Young. The 24-year-old leads MLB with a sub-1.75 ERA, over 210 strikeouts, elite FIP near 2.14, and a sub-0.76 WHIP while posting a .151 opponent average through late August. Recent expert polls reflect unanimous first-place support, driven by his velocity spikes above 104 mph and efficiency gains that have sustained high-inning workloads. Cristopher Sanchez and Chris Sale trail significantly due to higher ERAs and fewer strikeouts despite solid win totals and WAR. Late-season injury, a sharp performance decline, or voter emphasis on traditional counting stats could still narrow the gap before ballots close.
