St. Louis Cardinals enter the series finale at Target Field with a 38-30 record and strong recent offensive momentum, having scored 41 runs across six games while hitting multiple home runs in the June 13 contest. The Twins sit at 32-40 and trail in the AL Central, though they split the first two games of this interleague matchup. Cardinals starters have limited damage in key innings lately, while Minnesota relies on power threats like Byron Buxton against right-handers. Both clubs face typical mid-June scheduling factors, with the outcome likely influenced by bullpen usage and whether St. Louis sustains its power surge or Minnesota capitalizes on home-field opportunities.
