The 27-year-old Slovenian's shakehand attacking style and pedigree in WTT Champions events—despite recent round-of-32 exit to Nicholas Lum—contrast sharply with the 18-year-old New Zealander's youth and Feeder-level form, marked by straight-sets defeats like 2-3 to Xiangjing Zhang in Spokane II. Absent head-to-head history amplifies the experience gap. While table tennis upsets occur via unforced errors or fatigue, a late withdrawal or extreme underperformance would be required to alter the outcome.
