Lum, ranked No. 34, enters with surging momentum from his career-best WTT Champions Chongqing run in March, upsetting No. 16 Darko Jorgic 3-0 and beating Sora Matsushima before a quarterfinal exit, plus a straight-sets team win over Yassine Theophile last week. Wang, a left-handed powerhouse fresh off his Macao World Cup title, leads China despite their recent 3-1 group stage upset loss to Sweden, ending a 26-year unbeaten streak and exposing potential fatigue. Both left-hand shakehand attackers create stylistic parity; late lineup confirmations or Wang's match sharpness could swing odds.
