Recent European model consensus and official guidance from agencies like the Met Office point to a high of 17–19 °C in Amsterdam on September 16 amid widespread showers and moderate westerly flow. An Atlantic front is suppressing daytime heating after warmer conditions earlier in the week, with cloud cover and rainfall limiting insolation and keeping maxima near or slightly below the 1991–2020 climatological average of 19.2 °C. Ensemble spreads remain narrow around this range, supporting the market’s heavy weighting toward 18 °C while leaving modest room for 17 °C or 19 °C depending on exact frontal timing and local observations. Updated runs through mid-September continue to reinforce this cooler, unsettled pattern.
