Recent National Weather Service and model guidance indicate Dallas highs on September 3 will likely fall in the low-to-mid 90s amid partly cloudy skies, scattered showers, and a 40-50% rain chance that limits full solar heating. Persistent southeast flow off the Gulf maintains humidity and dew points near 70°F, while any organized storms or thicker cloud cover could shave several degrees from peak readings near the 1991-2020 average of 93°F. Equal market weighting across the 86-93°F bins reflects this forecast spread, with higher bins discounted by the moderating influence of moisture and limited ridging. Updated model runs and National Weather Service briefings over the next 48 hours will clarify whether drier air allows readings to reach the upper 90s.
