Recent National Weather Service and private model guidance indicates mostly sunny conditions and a warming trend under high pressure for Denver on September 3, supporting daytime highs centered in the upper 80s to low 90s°F—near or modestly above the 1991–2020 average of 84°F. Surface heating at the city’s 5,280-foot elevation, combined with light winds and low humidity, favors efficient daytime warming, while minor variations in model timing of any weak trough or cloud cover create the narrow spread across the 84–93°F bins. Official forecasts from sources such as WeatherBug and local outlets currently cluster between 88–92°F, with low precipitation risk reinforcing the central outcomes. Updated model runs and afternoon observations over the next 48 hours will refine the exact peak before resolution.
