Current National Weather Service and private model consensus for Denver on September 2 projects a sunny day with highs of 85–90 °F after morning clearing, driven by high pressure, light easterly flow, and strong daytime insolation at 5,280 ft elevation. This range aligns with the market’s leading 88–91 °F outcomes because ensemble guidance shows limited moisture and no significant cloud cover to suppress heating, while historical September 2 averages near 84 °F provide context for the modest warm anomaly. Low precipitation probabilities (under 10 %) further support efficient boundary-layer warming. Traders are weighting the most recent 00Z–12Z model runs, with final adjustments expected from the 06Z–12Z updates on September 1 before the market resolves on observed daily maximum.
