Recent National Weather Service and model guidance point to partly cloudy conditions with afternoon thunderstorm chances around 25-70% on September 14, typical for Miami in mid-September, which often limits peak heating through cloud cover and evaporative cooling. Historical climatology shows average daily highs near 86-88°F, yet recent days with highs of 88-93°F amid humid, unstable air have supported trader positioning for 90-91°F as the leading outcome at 53.5% implied probability. Key variables include steering flow strength, sea-breeze timing, and model consensus on convective initiation, with any delay in storms potentially allowing brief spikes into the low 90s before resolution criteria are met.
