Official forecasts for Miami on September 12 point to daytime highs in the upper 80s to around 90°F, with afternoon thunderstorms and high humidity driving the leading market probabilities for 90-91°F. Typical late-summer conditions, including a non-tropical disturbance enhancing storm chances, are expected to cap extreme peaks while maintaining heat indices near or above 100°F. This aligns with the historical average high of 89.5°F and recent model consensus from sources like the GFS, positioning 88-91°F ranges as the dominant outcomes. Traders appear to weigh the balance between potential brief clearing for higher readings and widespread convection limiting maxima, with lower probabilities assigned to 92°F+ reflecting the moderating influence of precipitation.
