Recent forecast model consensus from European and global ensembles points to a highest temperature in Milan on September 18 in the 22–24 °C range, with cloud cover, light easterly flow, and scattered showers suppressing daytime heating. Current runs show afternoon maxima near 23 °C amid 60–70 % cloud cover and isolated drizzle, while slight model spread on boundary-layer moisture and timing of any breaks creates the close contest between 23 °C and 24 °C outcomes. September climatology places the long-term average high near 22–23 °C, so traders are pricing modest positive anomalies against the risk of greater stabilization or lingering rain. Updated high-resolution guidance and midday observations will refine the final distribution before market resolution.
