Official observations from National Weather Service stations, including Chicago O’Hare, recorded a minimum temperature of 64–65°F on September 10, 2026, driving the overwhelming 98.5% market-implied probability for that outcome. Clear skies overnight, light winds, and seasonably mild dew points under a stable high-pressure pattern allowed radiational cooling to reach this level without dropping further, aligning closely with pre-event model consensus and climatological norms for early September. This skin-in-the-game trader consensus reflects high confidence in the verified data, though minor revisions to preliminary readings or station-specific variations remain theoretically possible before final certification.
