Recent National Weather Service and model guidance point to a post-frontal northwest flow and building high pressure clearing skies over the New York City area after showers on September 13, setting up moderate overnight radiational cooling. Forecast lows cluster near 59–64 °F, with northwest winds of 10–15 mph limiting extreme surface cooling while drier air and clear conditions favor readings in the low-to-mid 60s. Ensemble spreads and historical September climatology (average low near 62 °F) keep the 64–67 °F bins tightly matched in trader positioning, as small shifts in wind speed, cloud cover, or model bias could easily move the official minimum between the leading bins. Updated NWS forecasts and the next model cycle will provide the key data releases ahead of resolution.
