The Swiss Super League's pronounced parity drives the tight runner-up probabilities, with a dozen clubs clustered near even implied odds due to balanced squad strengths, transfer activity, and early 2026-27 results showing no clear hierarchy. Young Boys remain the consensus title frontrunners after strong preseason and opening wins, but challengers including Lugano, St. Gallen, Basel, and Servette feature comparable depth, attacking options, and defensive organization that position them equally for second. Recent form, home/away splits, and fixture congestion further level the field, while historical trends of mid-table surprises and European qualification battles sustain uncertainty across the 12-team table.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Swiss Super League for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Swiss Super League (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Swiss Super League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
