The tight clustering of implied probabilities around numerous NFL quarterbacks for the Week 2 interceptions leader stems primarily from the high variance of turnovers in any single game slate. Factors such as defensive pressure, offensive line protection, receiver separation, and weather conditions can swing outcomes dramatically from one matchup to the next, with no quarterback entering the week holding a clear statistical edge based on preseason form or historical single-game trends. Recent roster adjustments, including depth chart shifts and injury reports from Week 1, have further leveled expectations across starters and backups alike, while the compressed early-season schedule leaves limited sample data to separate candidates. Traders appear to view the field as wide open, consistent with how interceptions often distribute unpredictably even among established passers.
