Sanhui Shin holds a significant ranking edge over Yuto Oki entering their first-round ITF M15 Gimcheon clash, with the 29-year-old South Korean sitting near ATP No. 400 after a career-high of 347 while the 20-year-old Japanese player ranks outside the top 950. Shin’s greater experience on the ITF circuit and recent activity in Korean events provide a clear advantage on the hard courts, though Oki has shown promise with a solid 62% win rate in limited pro matches and a higher ITF ranking. No notable injury concerns or late withdrawals have been reported for either player, leaving form, surface familiarity, and the age gap as the primary variables that could influence the outcome in this early-round encounter.
