Tommy Paul enters the HSBC Championships round of 32 as the clear favorite against lucky loser Zachary Svajda on grass at Queen’s Club, reflecting a wide gap in ranking, recent form, and surface experience. The eighth-seeded American, who captured the title here in 2024 and owns multiple grass-court wins, brings superior serve, movement, and ATP-level consistency after claiming his first clay title in Houston earlier in 2026. Svajda, ranked outside the top 60 with a 6-8 record this season and making his Queen’s debut, advanced through qualifying but faces his first career meeting against a player with far greater hard-court and grass pedigree. Paul’s strong 2026 start and venue familiarity shape trader consensus around his strong implied probability.
