Yorkshire host Lancashire in this North Group Vitality T20 Blast clash at Headingley, a fixture defined by the historic Roses rivalry under Friday night lights. The White Rose lead the standings after three wins from four matches, including a strong chase against Derbyshire, despite a recent home loss to Gloucestershire. Captain Jonny Bairstow’s experience combines with all-round contributions from Moeen Ali and overseas pacers Hasan Ali and Faheem Ashraf to give Yorkshire batting depth and bowling variety on a typically batsman-friendly home surface. Lancashire enter with one win and two defeats, most recently falling to Leicestershire, and must manage long-term injury absences while depending on Australian imports Ben McDermott and Chris Green for middle-order stability and spin options. Recent form, home advantage, and squad resilience will shape proceedings in this high-stakes group encounter.
