Jersey hosts Scotland A in a four-match T20 series at Grainville starting April 18 with double-headers on consecutive days, marking the islanders' 2026 campaign opener amid heightened resolve after a heartbreaking T20 World Cup 2026 qualification miss on net run rate despite their thrilling one-wicket triumph over full-strength Scotland in July 2025. Grainville's pitch offers consistent bounce and pace favoring balanced contests, amplifying Jersey's home advantage and stamina test in back-to-back fixtures. Scotland A's developmental squad, featuring emerging talents like Conor McKerr, provides Jersey—bolstered by Asa Tribe's England Lions pedigree—a platform to build momentum ahead of the May Europe sub-regional qualifiers for the 2028 T20 World Cup pathway.
