Alphabet shares closed at $335.02 on September 1, 2026, extending a recent pullback from the May all-time high near $408 amid broader tech-sector rotation and elevated AI infrastructure spending. Traders are monitoring potential catalysts for the September 2 close, including any follow-through from reports of an imminent Gemini 3.8 Flash model release that could narrow competitive gaps in coding capabilities, alongside ongoing cloud revenue momentum and Android feature updates. The stock trades at roughly 17x trailing earnings with consensus analyst targets above $420, though near-term volatility reflects concerns over capital expenditures, regulatory scrutiny, and relative underperformance versus the S&P 500 year-to-date. Market-implied odds will hinge on intraday equity futures, sector rotation, and any last-minute corporate or macroeconomic signals.

If the two specified prices are exactly equal, this market will resolve to "No".
Closing prices will be used exactly as published by Pyth, without rounding.
If Alphabet Inc. (GOOGL) does not trade at all during the regular session, the market will resolve 50-50.
For a standard full trading session, the closing price refers to the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle corresponding to the final minute of regular trading hours on the primary exchange.
If the specified day has no valid Pyth Close value for the 1-minute candle corresponding to the end of regular trading hours on the primary exchange, the market will use the last valid Pyth price achieved during the regular trading hours of the primary exchange as the effective closing price.
