To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market can not resolve to "Yes" until all data for this date has been finalized. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Trader consensus assigns a 100% implied probability to a high temperature of 76-77°F in Atlanta on May 4, driven by official observations from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (KATL), the standard measurement site per National Weather Service protocols. Automated station data confirmed a peak of 77°F around early afternoon amid partly cloudy skies, light westerly winds of 5-10 mph, and dry conditions, capping warming after a cool morning low near 43°F—cooler than the May climatological average high of 79°F due to lingering effects of a recent upper-level trough. Model forecasts from NOAA had anticipated this range 24 hours prior, with minimal divergence. Realistic challenges include rare post-preliminary data revisions for sensor calibration errors or disputes over the exact resolution source (e.g., Weather Underground vs. raw METAR), though such shifts are improbable at this stage.
