Barcelona commands a nine-point lead atop the La Liga table with 79 points after 31 matchdays (26 wins, 1 draw, 4 losses, +54 goal difference), fueling trader consensus at 97.2% implied probability for the title. Recent dominance—five straight league wins, including a 4-1 derby rout of Espanyol on April 11 and a 2-1 road win at Atlético Madrid—has widened the gap, complemented by a perfect 16-0-0 home record. Real Madrid (70 points) faltered with a 1-2 loss to Mallorca on April 4 and 1-1 draw versus Girona on April 10, while Villarreal lags at 61. Upsets could arise from key Barcelona injuries, a slip in the seven remaining fixtures (including the May 10 Clásico), or Real Madrid's perfect 21-point haul overtaking on goal difference.
