Recent National Weather Service and model guidance indicate mostly clear skies and light easterly winds over Atlanta tonight into Wednesday night, supporting efficient radiative cooling and a minimum temperature centered in the upper 60s to low 70s. This places the 70-71°F and 68-69°F bins as the closest market outcomes, with differentiation driven by small forecast spreads in dew-point depression and boundary-layer mixing. Historical September climatology shows typical lows near 66-68°F, but the current pattern lacks the stronger high pressure or drier air that would push readings lower. Updated model runs tonight and official NWS forecast discussions tomorrow morning represent the next key data points that could shift trader positioning ahead of resolution.
