Cleveland Guardians hold a solid 13-10 record in the AL Central, contrasting sharply with the Toronto Blue Jays' dismal 7-13 mark and fifth-place AL East standing, driven by brutal early-season injury woes including OF George Springer and 3B Addison Barger on the 10-day injured list, OF Daulton Varsho day-to-day with knee discomfort, and multiple pitchers sidelined like RHP Trey Yesavage. Guardians recently placed INF Gabriel Arias on the 10-day IL (hamstring), but their depth persists ahead of the three-game series at Rogers Centre starting April 24, where Gavin Williams (3-1, 2.12 ERA) faces Max Scherzer (1-2, 7.16) in the opener, tilting trader sentiment toward Cleveland's pitching edge and Toronto's depleted lineup and bullpen vulnerabilities.
