The St. Louis Cardinals head to loanDepot park for a three-game series against the Miami Marlins starting April 20, with Game 1 featuring probable starters Michael McGreevy (STL RHP) versus Max Meyer (MIA RHP), both young arms seeking early-season stability in the rotation. Marlins' outfield is depleted by injuries, including Griffin Conine (torn hamstring, 10-day IL since April 9), Esteury Ruiz (oblique, out until mid-May), and Kyle Stowers (hamstring), forcing lineup adjustments amid their 9-9 record. Cardinals (9-8) carry momentum from a 5-3 win over Cleveland on April 15, holding a historical edge in head-to-head matchups, though Miami's home advantage and rest could keep this closely contested trader consensus. Weather in Miami favors hitting with mild temperatures.
