The Minnesota Twins, leading the AL Central at 11-8, hosted the struggling Boston Red Sox (6-11, fifth in AL East) for a three-game series at Target Field ending April 15, winning 2-1 behind explosive offense including 13 runs on April 13 against Garrett Crochet and a 6-0 shutout on April 14. Trevor Story's homer and five RBIs powered Boston's 9-5 series-finale victory, with Connelly Early (2.63 ERA) outdueling Simeon Woods Richardson (4.60 ERA). Twins' Royce Lewis (knee, 10-day IL) and Pablo Lopez (elbow, season) join multiple pitching ailments, while Red Sox miss Triston Casas (knee) and several arms like Patrick Sandoval (elbow, 15-day IL); mild 64°F weather favored hitters. Trader consensus reflected Twins' home edge and hot streak before Boston's late rally.
