Corbin Carroll holds a commanding lead in MLB triples with 16 through 141 games for the Diamondbacks, eight more than the nearest pursuers, a margin that has driven overwhelming trader consensus on his season-long title. His elite speed and aggressive baserunning have produced consistent three-baggers, building on prior league leads in 2023-2025 and a career pace that places him among active leaders. Limited time remains in the regular season, reducing opportunities for challengers like Otto Lopez or Jake McCarthy to close the gap despite solid contact skills. Carroll’s recent low-back discomfort and lineup scratch introduce minor uncertainty, as does the possibility of an unusually productive final stretch by another speed-oriented hitter, though such outcomes would require exceptional volume in a short window.
