Stephen Curry's expressed commitment to remaining with the Golden State Warriors drives the market's 95.6% consensus on his next team. The 38-year-old guard, entering the final year of his current deal, has repeatedly affirmed his desire to finish his career as a franchise lifer, most recently in mid-September 2026 interviews where he dismissed free-agency appeal and emphasized staying competitive in the Bay Area alongside core figures like Draymond Green and coach Steve Kerr. The Warriors have offered flexible extension paths, including a potential two-year max around $137 million, without pressure, aligning with Curry's long history of loyalty and the absence of credible trade or departure signals. While a sharp decline in team competitiveness during the 2026-27 season or unforeseen health issues could open other doors in free agency, trader pricing reflects the strength of his stated intentions and organizational stability.
