The even distribution of implied probabilities across dozens of running backs for the Week 1 rushing touchdowns leader reflects the single-game variance and fluid goal-line usage typical of opening-week slates. Multiple backs enter with strong situational edges, including Saquon Barkley’s historical production against Washington, Bucky Irving’s increased share in Tampa Bay’s offense versus Cincinnati’s porous run defense, and Derrick Henry’s red-zone volume for Baltimore. Ashton Jeanty and Omarion Hampton benefit from favorable home or divisional matchups, while injuries to players like Jeremiyah Love, Jonathon Brooks, and Alvin Kamara create potential for expanded opportunities elsewhere. With most teams at or near full health and no extended sample to establish dominance, trader consensus prices the outcome as highly contested among established veterans and emerging committee leaders.
