This market will resolve according to the next UFC fighter that Conor McGregor is officially announced to face in a UFC bout. Resolution for this market will be based on the next UFC fighter that Conor McGregor is officially announced to fight, regardless of whether the fight ends up taking place. Only official announcements from the UFC, which include a scheduled date for the bout, will count. Announcements with no date or which do not confirm that the fight is official, speculation, or other unofficial announcements will not count. If Conor McGregor is officially announced to fight any non-listed fighter or no qualifying announcement is made by March 1, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the UFC.Trader consensus on Polymarket closely splits between Max Holloway and Ian Garry as Conor McGregor's most likely next UFC opponent, reflecting unconfirmed reports of a July 11 International Fight Week return. Ariel Helwani's late-March disclosure positioned Holloway as the frontrunner for a long-awaited rematch—13 years after McGregor's 2013 featherweight win—bolstered by Holloway's recent BMF title contention and striking volume that could draw massive pay-per-view buys. Ian Garry's near-parity stems from Dana White's hints at an Ireland card spotlighting the rising welterweight contender amid a reported Irish rivalry, with Chael Sonnen dismissing Holloway in favor of a top-170-pound matchup. Michael Chandler lingers due to prior booking delays from McGregor's toe injury, while Masvidal and Diaz fade after rejections and low buzz, underscoring the market's tight dynamics absent an official announcement.
