This market will resolve to "Yes" if the team winning 1st place at the 2026 League of Legends World Championship (Worlds 2026), currently scheduled for October 15 to November 14, 2026, is a Western team. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". A Western team is a team that qualified for the tournament through the LEC (Europe / EMEA), the LCS (North America), or the CBLOL (Brazil). Teams that qualified through the LCK (South Korea), the LPL (China), or the LCP (Asia-Pacific) are not Western teams. If the winner of Worlds 2026 is not determined by November 28, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or the tournament is canceled or postponed past that date, this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the tournament organizer, Riot Games, via the LoL Esports website (https://lolesports.com). However, a consensus of credible reporting (e.g., Liquipedia at https://liquipedia.net/leagueoflegends/World_Championship/2026) may also be used.LCK and LPL squads hold decisive edges entering Worlds 2026, with Gen.G, Hanwha Life Esports (MSI 2026 champions), T1, and Dplus KIA joined by Anyone’s Legend, Bilibili Gaming, Top Esports, and Invictus Gaming at the top of global Elo and power rankings. These regions earned four slots each after strong MSI and playoff results, while LEC representatives G2 and Karmine Corp plus LCS sides like Cloud9 or Team Liquid trail significantly in recent international head-to-head records and region strength modifiers. Western teams have posted limited success against Eastern opposition in prior majors, and no Western roster has ever claimed the title amid consistent LCK dominance over the past several cycles. Trader pricing reflects this structural gap, with only narrow upset paths possible through bracket variance or unexpected form shifts.
