Eurovision 2027 will take place in Bulgaria in May following Dara’s 2026 victory with “Bangaranga,” automatically securing the host’s participation and spurring early broadcaster commitments. As of mid-June 2026, nine countries have provisionally confirmed, including returning participant North Macedonia alongside Denmark, Finland, Germany, Greece, Luxembourg, San Marino, and Switzerland—the latter two issuing formal statements and opening song submissions in recent weeks. Luxembourg’s prime minister also extended multi-year support. Host-city bidding among Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, and Burgas remains active, with an expected July announcement that could influence local promotion and logistics. Traders are pricing high probabilities for core participants while monitoring potential returns from Hungary or Slovakia and any late EBU decisions, with national finals such as Denmark’s DMGP in February 2027 serving as the next major catalysts.
