Recent short-term forecasts from regional meteorological models indicate typical early-September rainy season conditions over Panama City, with daytime highs of 28–30°C amid scattered afternoon thunderstorms and high humidity that limit extreme heating. These patterns, consistent with historical climatology showing mean September maxima near 30°C, support trader emphasis on 31°C as the leading outcome while assigning meaningful probability to 32°C if convective activity is delayed or lighter. Cloud cover, precipitation timing, and steering winds from the Pacific ITCZ remain the dominant variables that could shift the daily maximum within the narrow 29–32°C envelope ahead of the September 7 resolution window.
