Dayeon Back and Su Jeong Jang, both South Korean players, meet on outdoor hard courts at the ITF W35 Changwon. Back, the top seed and currently ranked in the low 300s, has posted consistent results in recent ITF events and benefits from home-soil familiarity and strong recent form. Jang, a former WTA top-120 player now ranked outside the top 400, brings greater career experience but has competed primarily at ITF level lately with mixed outcomes. Limited head-to-head history exists between them, and the hard-court surface favors baseline consistency over power. No major injuries or late withdrawals have been reported for either player.
