Soha Sadiq, a 27-year-old Indian player ranked around 1272, faces 17-year-old Moroccan wildcard Lina Bezza in the first round of the ITF W15 Casablanca on clay. Bezza, a rising junior with strong recent results in African events, benefits from home-soil support and familiarity with the slow, high-bouncing surface that rewards consistency and endurance. Sadiq brings greater senior-level ITF experience but has shown mixed recent form, including straight-set losses in prior events. With no prior head-to-head meetings, the matchup pits the Indian veteran’s match toughness against the local teenager’s potential and crowd advantage in a low-stakes early-round encounter.
