Aya El Sayed faces Victoria Kapcia in the round of 16 at the ITF W15 Hurghada on outdoor hard courts, marking their first professional meeting. El Sayed, the higher-ranked Egyptian competitor at approximately 1337, enters with a mixed 2026 hard-court record that includes recent wins and losses in similar lower-tier events. Kapcia arrives with limited recent results on the surface and no established head-to-head edge to draw upon. Both players operate in a deep, competitive field where form, consistency on hard courts, and handling of early-round pressure often determine advancement in W15 events. The contest is scheduled to begin around 2:30 p.m. local time.
