This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up of the Premier League for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Premier League for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Premier League (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the Premier League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. With the 2026-27 Premier League season set to open in late August, the runner-up market reflects tight trader consensus among Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool, and Manchester United because each side enters with strong squads bolstered by summer transfer activity and recent league positioning. Arsenal, as defending champions, and City, the prior runners-up, sit level at the top of implied probabilities, while Liverpool's recovery and Manchester United's resurgence create multiple plausible paths to second place. Chelsea and Aston Villa add further depth to the chasing pack. Ongoing window moves and pre-season form continue to shape these dynamics without a clear separation among the leading contenders.
