Hawthorn Hawks hold a 67% implied probability against Collingwood Magpies primarily due to superior 2026 ladder position and overall form. Sitting fourth with a 14-6-2 record and strong percentage, the Hawks have secured a top-four finish and shown greater consistency than the Magpies, who sit mid-table around eighth with a 12-8-1 mark amid persistent injury issues. Key absences for Collingwood, including captain Darcy Moore’s recurring hamstring problems, have thinned their defense and leadership, while Hawthorn benefits from better recent results, including a strong win over North Melbourne and competitive showings against top sides. The teams’ recent Round 23 draw at the MCG highlighted stylistic clashes and Collingwood’s pressure game, yet broader season trends and roster depth favor the Hawks in trader assessments of the matchup.
