Recent Civey polling three weeks before the 20 September 2026 Berlin Abgeordnetenhaus election shows Linke at 20 percent, CDU at 19 percent and AfD at 18 percent, with Grüne on 15 percent and SPD at 13 percent, creating a narrow contest for third place among AfD, Grüne and CDU. Trader odds reflect this volatility, as small shifts in the final weeks or turnout differences among key voter groups could reorder the middle positions. Housing costs, public safety and dissatisfaction with the outgoing CDU-SPD coalition remain central campaign themes, while stable support levels for the trailing parties and the five-percent threshold for smaller lists add uncertainty. Late-campaign events or differential mobilization in western versus eastern districts could widen or narrow the gaps before election day.
