Gerwyn Price enters this World Series of Darts encounter as the clear favorite, with traders assigning him a 74.5% implied probability based on his superior 2026 form and historical dominance. The Welshman has secured multiple European Tour titles and Players Championship wins this season while posting elite averages, contrasting with veteran Simon Whitlock’s more limited results in PDC majors and recent first-round exits at the World Championship. Price leads their head-to-head record significantly and benefits from greater consistency on the big stage, though Whitlock’s experience and occasional upsets against higher-ranked opponents keep a realistic path open for the Australian if he finds early scoring rhythm. Recent schedule positioning in the New Zealand and Australian legs further underscores Price’s edge in current momentum.
