Gian van Veen enters this World Series of Darts encounter as the clear favorite, with traders pricing his implied probability at 73.5% based on his superior recent form and head-to-head dominance. The Dutchman, a top seed acclimatized after arriving early in New Zealand, recently defeated Tata 7-4 while posting a 100.4 average and multiple 180s, underscoring his scoring consistency and finishing under pressure. Van Veen has shown flashes of his best play across major events, including a strong run to the prior World Darts Championship final. By contrast, Tata, a New Zealand qualifier with limited elite experience, faces a significant step up in competition despite home support and occasional standout finishes. No injury concerns affect either player, leaving matchup dynamics and recent scoring trends as the primary drivers of market sentiment.
