The July 2026 Emmy nominations amplified momentum for The Pitt, whose 25 total nods and multiple supporting actor entries reflect strong industry backing for its ensemble medical drama. Patrick Ball leads at 41% implied probability on the strength of his layered turn as a recovering addict physician, while Tom Pelphrey sits close behind at 33.5% on the basis of his intense, critically noted work opposite Mark Ruffalo in HBO’s Task. Billy Crudup’s established Morning Show presence and Shawn Hatosy’s Pitt contributions round out the tighter field, with guild and critics’ awards still pending as key swing factors ahead of the September ceremony. Traders view the race as highly contested given The Pitt’s collective narrative versus standout individual performances.
