Mercedes leads the 2026 Constructors’ Championship by 87 points over Ferrari after 12 rounds, built on early-season dominance with eight wins in the first 11 events and consistent double-podium results from Kimi Antonelli and George Russell. The team’s power unit has proven the class of the field under the new regulations, though recent form shows McLaren and Ferrari closing the performance gap through more frequent upgrades while Mercedes operates under cost-cap limits and awaits a major late-season package. Traders price Mercedes at 89.5% implied probability due to the size of its lead and reliability track record, yet a sustained development surge by rivals or unexpected reliability setbacks could still narrow the margin in the flyaway races.
