Pierluigi Basile, the 19-year-old Italian ranked 660, faces 24-year-old Dane Oskar Brostrom Poulsen, ranked 734, in the second round of the ITF M25 Grado on clay. Basile arrives after a dominant straight-sets opening win and benefits from home-soil familiarity on the slower surface, where Italian juniors often excel in baseline rallies. Poulsen advanced via a three-set victory earlier in the draw and brings slightly more professional experience. With no prior head-to-head meetings, the contest hinges on recent clay-court form, first-serve percentages, and physical conditioning in what projects as a competitive best-of-three encounter.
