Marino enters with the stronger recent clay-court form, including straight-set wins over Maxence Bertimon and Hazem Naw in the preceding M15 Amstelveen event held nearby in the Netherlands. Mehra, coming off a three-set qualifying victory over Leon Peranović at the same venue, has shown inconsistent results on the surface in prior European swings. Both players are 24–25 years old with limited ATP main-draw experience; Marino holds the higher career-high ranking (827) and greater exposure to European clay conditions. Travel, adaptation to the slow surface, and serve-volley effectiveness on the low-bouncing clay will be decisive factors in this first meeting.
