Amit Vales, ranked near 776, enters the ITF M15 Lakewood round of 16 on outdoor hard courts as the clear favorite based on recent professional form. He advanced with a straight-sets win over Lucca Liu and posted additional victories in prior hard-court events. Marko Mesarovic, a Clemson college player with a lower ranking around 1341, reached this stage after qualifier and main-draw wins but faces a stylistic and experience gap against the more established Vales. The pair has no prior head-to-head record. Surface familiarity, current fitness, and serving consistency on the fast hard courts represent the primary variables that could influence the outcome in this lower-tier professional matchup.
